Maurrisha is a Khajiit guard and an Agent of the Imperial Legion. She provides the lower level Legion quests in the city of Old Ebonheart, and can be found commanding the Imperial Guard Command Post on the city's southern gate.
With a strong sense of duty, the captain does not tolerate dishonesty in her troops, although is willing to give the benefit of the doubt when it comes to failure. Being responsible for keeping law and order within the city, her quests focus on guard duties, and solving civilian disputes.
For protection, she wears an Imperial steel cuirass with matching greaves, gauntlets, and pauldrons. For clothing, she wears an Imperial skirt and an Imperial belt. She wields an adamantium halberd.
Like all Khajiit, she can see well in the dark and can demoralize others for short periods, but otherwise knows no spells.

- "Speak, citizen."
- (If you are a member of the Imperial Legion):
- "Speak, %PCRank."
- (Before starting any of her Imperial Legion quests):
- "Welcome, %PCRank. Are you here for orders?"
- (Any time between Imperial Legion quests before finishing her last one):
- "%PCRank, I have your new orders."
- (If you have been expelled from the Imperial Legion):
- "You've been expelled. I have no orders for you."
- Advancement:
- "Talk to Olfvur Steel-Skin about it."
- (If you are Knight of the Imperial Dragon rank in the Imperial Legion):
- "But you are the Knight of the Imperial Dragon! You don't need advancement."
- Background:
- "My name's %Name. I'm the Legion officer on the walls of Old Ebonheart. The city may be a bustling hub of trade, but believe me, I'm aware of every person who goes through the gates."
- Captain Maurrisha:
- "Yes, it's me. What can I do for you, %PCName?"
- join the Imperial Legion:
- (If you don't meet the rank requirements):
- "Sorry, the Legion has standards. Ones you don't meet at this time."
- "You seem like you'll make a good Legionnaire. Do you want to hear more about the Legions?"
- Sign me up, ma'am!:
- "You are now a %NextPCRank in the Imperial Legion. Welcome, %PCName. You'll have to stay in uniform, so take this chain cuirass. You better be wearing a Legion cuirass of some kind in the presence of a higher ranking member. Take your orders from me and other officers, and your advancement through the ranks will be swift if you meet the requirements." (You become a member of the Imperial Legion, and you receive an Imperial Chain Cuirass)
-
- Tell me about the Imperial Legion, ma'am.:
- "Your duties are to the Empire and to your commanding officers - in that order. Carry yourself with dignity and uphold the law. You are the face of the Empire to the common man. Respect all members of the Imperial Legion. It is treasonous to fight or steal from other members. If you break these rules, you must speak with your recruiting officer, me, to redeem your standing. Do you swear to adhere to what I have stated?"
- Yes, ma'am.: (See response for 'Sign me up, ma'am!' choice above)
-
-
- No, ma'am.:
- "Then why are we speaking?" Goodbye

- "You're already a member of the Legion. %PCRank. Did you forget?"

- "I have no orders for those not in the Legion. Do you want to join the Imperial Legion?"
- (If you have finished all of her Imperial Legion quests):
- "I have no more orders for you. You should check with the Rojanna Jades over at Fort Ancylis or Servas Capris in Helnim for orders. You might also go to Firewatch. And when you are ready, you can talk to Olfvur Steel-Skin, here in Old Ebonheart."
- (If you have finished all of her Imperial Legion quests and Olfvur Steel-Skin is dead):
- "I have no more orders for you. You should check with Rojanna Jades over at Fort Ancylis or Servas Capris in Helnim for orders. You might also go to Firewatch."

- "You have been expelled, %PCName. You should review our rules and then join the Imperial Legion again."
Imperial Legion: Judge and Jury[edit]
- Greeting:
- "Report on the merchant dispute, %PCRank."
- merchant dispute:
- "As you might be aware, most of what we do here is policing the city. Occasionally there's a dispute that requires us to intervene, such as this one between two merchants at the plaza. I've got a report that there's a disagreement over who has the choice of location to sell their goods next to the fountain. Find out what's going on there, and stop them from causing such a disturbance. If things get violent, try to get them to surrender if at all possible."
- "Have you settled the merchant dispute at the plaza?"
- "I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with the law in question. I would check the offices of Marsh & Ellerian nearby and see if anyone there knows about that paper."
- (If you arrested Olres Iladri or Vols Valdri, paid Olres Iladri to leave, or exposed Vols Valdri's forgery):
- "I'm glad to hear you settled it nonviolently. Here's your pay. Speak to me again when you're ready for more orders." (Disposition +5, Imperial Legion Reputation +5, and you receive 100 gold)
- (If Olres Iladri or Vols Valdri is dead):
- "It's unfortunate it had to end with a corpse, but I cannot fault you for ensuring public safety. Here is your pay. Speak to me again when you're ready for more orders." (Imperial Legion Reputation +5, and you receive 100 gold)
- (If you arrested both Olres Iladri and Vols Valdri):
- "I don't understand why both were sent to prison but I'm sure there was a good reason for it. Here's your pay. Speak to me again when you're ready for more orders." (Disposition +3, Imperial Legion Reputation +5, and you receive 100 gold)
- (If both Olres Iladri and Vols Valdri are dead):
- "Both merchants were killed? You're an embarrassment to the Legion, %PCRank. Though I'm fairly certain you acted out of order, I can't be sure. I will err on your side just this once." (Disposition -10)
- "Yes, you've settled the merchants' dispute."
- (If you have been expelled from the Imperial Legion):
- "You've been expelled. Unless you join the Imperial Legion again, we won't talk about this."

Imperial Legion: Properly Purloined[edit]
- Greetings:
- "Your post was at the gate in the sewers."
- (If you let Miriel go):
- "A thief has gotten into the vault through the gate in the sewers! How could you let this happen?" (Disposition -20)
- gate in the sewers:
- "The treasure chamber of the Ebon Tower Palace is attracting thieves from every corner of this city, especially the sewer entrance. One of our officers is weak with fever, and we can't allow the gate to be lightly guarded. I need you to take his post for the rest of the day. I can't get you vetted for the vault patrol route on such short notice, so get down there from Arkay's Tower, along the western walls. The priests will surely let you through the undercroft mortuary."
- Continue:
- "Take this key with you. It opens most gates on the upper level of the sewers." (You receive the Ebon Tower Sewers Key)
- "Why aren't you at your post? If you go through the Mortuary in Arkay's Tower, you'll get there fast enough."
- "Good job, %PCRank. Here's your pay for the day. You don't need to go back to the post, as I've got some more pressing orders for you." (Disposition +3, Imperial Legion Reputation +5, removed Ebon Tower Sewers Key from your inventory, and you receive 200 gold)
- "Yes, you've already seen to that."
- (If you killed Miriel):
- "You've killed the intruder? We try to avoid bloodshed as long as it's possible, %PCRank. Nevertheless, you've protected the vault, so here's your pay for the day. You don't need to go back to the post, as I've got some more pressing orders for you." (Imperial Legion Reputation +5, removed Ebon Tower Sewers Key from your inventory, and you receive 100 gold)
- (If you let Miriel go):
- "You were supposed to protect the vault, yet did nothing to stop a common thief! It's clear that you can't be trusted with anything more complicated than handling a brawl. You're demoted." (Disposition -20, Imperial Legion Reputation -5, Imperial Legion Rank -1, and removed Ebon Tower Sewers Key from your inventory)
- (If you let Miriel go and you are a Knight of the Imperial Dragon of the Imperial Legion):
- "You were supposed to protect the vault, yet did nothing to stop a common thief! It's clear that you can't be trusted with anything more complicated than handling a brawl." (Disposition -10, Imperial Legion Reputation -5, and removed Ebon Tower Sewers Key from your inventory)
- (If you were caught robbing the vault):
- "Don't talk to me about it." (Disposition -5)
- (If you have been expelled from the Imperial Legion):
- "You've been expelled. Unless you join the Imperial Legion again, we won't talk about this."
- Orders:
- "Your next order is to guard an important gate in the sewers. It's not a glamourous position, but if you signed up for glamour you're in the wrong province."
- (If Olres Iladri is dead):
- "Welcome to Old Ebonheart, %PCRank. Your first order is to guard an important gate in the sewers."
- "Why aren't you at your post? You're supposed to guard the gate in the sewers."
Imperial Legion:Jury and Executioner[edit]
- Greeting:
- "Report on the hostage situation, %PCRank."
- hostage situation:
- "Go to Qyntos Mor's house, on the street that goes through the eastern part of the city. The officers stationed there will tell you more."
- "What do you mean it's still ongoing? Go end it then!" (Disposition -2)
- (If you didn't enter the house and Qyntus Mor killed Lucia Mor):
- "I'm very disappointed, %PCRank. How could you make such a mess of this?" (Disposition -8)
- (If both Mors are alive):
- "So you've managed to save both of them? %PCName, you've done rather well. Here's your pay." (Disposition +8, Imperial Legion Reputation +5, and you receive 100 gold)
- (If Qyntus Mor is dead):
- "I'm relieved to hear that you've managed to save the poor wife. Here's your pay for a job well done." (Disposition +5, Imperial Legion Reputation +5, and you receive 50 gold)
- (If you entered the house but Qyntus Mor killed Lucia Mor):
- "Don't beat yourself up, you can't save everyone. At least the husband can be brought to justice. Here's your pay." (Disposition +4, Imperial Legion Reputation +5, and you receive 50 gold)
- (If both Mors are dead):
- "This is very disappointing news, %PCRank. How could you let both of them die? The least you could've done was to arrest the husband." (Disposition -15)
- "It's already ended."
- (If either/both Mors are already dead before starting the quest):
- "Oh sorry, looks like the notice was a few days old. Nothing to worry about."
- (If you have been expelled from the Imperial Legion):
- "You've been expelled. Unless you join the Imperial Legion again, we won't talk about this."
- Orders:
- "%PCRank, we have an ongoing hostage situation in town."
- "Can you report on the hostage situation?"
The Prince of Rats[edit]
- "You're talking about the missing prince from the Elsweyr Mission? We're keeping our eyes open, but unless we get some new information from the Ebon Tower, there is nothing else we can do. If you want to investigate on your own, %Name suggests asking S'varr or Anjzhirra. You'll find S'varr skulking around some alley or another. Anjzhirra runs a store on the main square. They both know a lot about the city, especially if it involves fellow Khajiit."
- "%Name has given you all the help she can give. Have you asked S'varr and Anjzhirra yet?"
