Olfvur Steel-Skin is a Nord warrior and a Knight of the Imperial Dragon in the Imperial Legion. As an experienced combatant, he oversees day-to-day operations in the Legion Headquarters, occasionally issuing missions across Morrowind. He works under Caecalia Victrix, the commander of the Imperial Legion in the province.
A gruff man, Olfvur still cares enough for greenhorns to tell you to be gentle with them on the occasions you need to give the orders. He is nonetheless well-aware of the state of the Imperial Legion across Morrowind, even going so far as to call those in Firewatch "cowards and wimps", as he sends you out from Old Ebonheart to deal with that city's naval supply issues. While he expects those under his charge to follow orders, he sometimes gives them a wide remit to get the job done, telling you to do whatever you think is right when dealing with the case of General Casik, for instance.
For protection, he wears an Imperial silver cuirass, an Imperial silver cap, a set of Imperial silver greaves, a pair of Imperial silver boots, a pair of Imperial silver bracers, and a pair of spiked steel pauldrons. For clothing, he wears a common shirt, a pair of common pants, and an Imperial skirt. He wields an adamantium scimitar.
Aside from his natural resistance to shock, immunity to frost, ability to shield himself, and a natural frost damage spell, he knows no spells.

Dialogue[edit]
- Greetings:
- "Speak, citizen."
- (If you are a member of the Imperial Legion):
- "Speak, %PCRank."
- (If you are at least Knight Errant rank in the Imperial Legion):
- "%PCRank. Here for orders or advancement?"
- (If you have been expelled from the Imperial Legion):
- "You've been expelled. Unless you make amends and join the Imperial Legion again, you're not welcome here."
- "You've been expelled. Get out of here."
- Advancement:
- (If you have been demoted):
- "You got demoted. You'll have to prove yourself before you're trusted again."
- Background:
- "I'm %Name, the second-in-command after Caecalia Victrix here at the Ebon Tower. %Rank... it has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?"
- Caecalia Victrix:
- "She outranks us all -- even the Knights of the Imperial Dragon."
- Olfvur Steel-Skin:
- "Yes, it's me. What do you want?"
- Orders:
- "I don't have any orders for you, %PCRank. Check with Captain Maurrisha at the gates of Old Ebonheart. When you're a Knight Errant of the Legions, you can check back with me."
- "I don't have any orders for you yet, %PCRank. Come back when you're a Knight Errant of the Legions."
- (Once you have completed all of his quests):
- "I have no more orders for you. Check with the Knight Protectors of each of the Legion forts, or with Caecalia Victrix, Lord General of the Imperial Legion."
- "I have no more orders for you. Check with the Knight Protectors of each of the Legion forts."
- (If you are not a member of the Imperial Legion):
- "I have no orders for those not in the Legion. According to the latest garrison reports, only General Darius in Gnisis has openings. If you're serious, come back if Darius lets you in. That's assuming you make the cut."
Imperial Legion: Belated Justice[edit]
- Orders:
- "Have you heard about General Casik? No? I'm not surprised, you haven't been here for too long. He was once a high-ranking officer of the Imperial Legion, before he was imprisoned for treason a few decades ago. Since then, he's been pestering various officials with his pleas of innocence. It's immensely annoying. Can you put an end to it?"
- Yes, I'll try to.:
- "Wonderful. See Belisatha Mede about Casik's case; she's somewhere in the central offices of the Curia. I don't really care about the outcome for Casik, and I'm sure neither does she. Do what you feel is right. Good luck, %PCRank."
- (If Belisatha Mede is dead):
- Belisatha Mede is dead.:
- "I wonder how that came to be. Nevermind, I have other orders for you."
- I don't think so.:
- "Well, this is not an official order, and he's not going anywhere. But come back later if you have the time, because I still need him to stop."
- (If General Casik is dead):
- Casik is dead.:
- "I wonder how that came to be. Nevermind, I have other orders for you."
- "Did you solve Casik's case?"
- Yes, I did.:
- "Thank you, %PCName. Here's some gold for your trouble." (Disposition +5, Imperial Legion Reputation +5, and you receive 100 gold)
- Not yet.:
- "Get back to work then. It's not going to solve itself, is it?"
Imperial Legion: All Work and No Play[edit]
- Greetings:
- (Upon returning):
- "Well done, %PCRank. Thank you for standing in for me today. I've learned a great deal of information during my little expedition. The next time we talk about your orders, I'll tell you about it." (Your controls are enabled again)
- giving orders:
- "I need to attend a rendez-vous with a very important informer of ours today. I'll stay in the city, but this means there will be no one here to give orders to our recruits for a few hours. I want you to be that person, if you feel like you're up to the task. Are you though?"
- You can count on me, sir.:
- "I was hoping for this answer. Look, the recruits have already received the gist of their orders, you just need to clear up any misunderstanding that might arise. They are not the most experienced bunch, so be patient with them. Good luck, %PCRank." Goodbye (Your controls are disabled)
- I have to take care of a few other things first.:
- "All right. Just be sure to come back later."
- "Good luck, %PCRank."
- (If you have been expelled from the Imperial Legion):
- "You've been expelled, but maybe you can join the Imperial Legion again."
- Orders:
- "%PCRank, how do you feel about giving orders?"
- (If you completed 'Belated Justice' without being ordered to):
- "%PCRank, I heard about how you handled the Casik case. We could use someone like you here. Tell me, how do you feel about giving orders?"
- "I'm leaving soon enough. Giving orders is your responsibility for the day."
Imperial Legion: Sabotage[edit]
- Greeting:
- "You are to arrest a saboteur, %PCRank."
- arrest a saboteur:
- "To let you in on an open secret, the state of the Imperial Legion in Firewatch is precarious. I don't want to indulge in gossip, so I'm only stating the raw facts. There's a Telvanni wizard in Tel Thenim of Port Telvannis, going by the name of Weikal Urenim. He's been actively working on sabotaging our naval supply routes to the city. I want him arrested and brought before court."
- Continue:
- "Unfortunately, the Firewatch garrison is full of cowards and wimps. This is probably our only chance to catch Urenim, so I want someone who has already proven their worth. This someone might just be you. Do you feel like you're up to the task?"
- Yes, sir.:
- "Good. I will dispatch two legionnaires to wait for you at the entrance of Tel Thenim. Your duty is to arrest Weikal Urenim, the guards will handle the rest. Take this warrant with you. If he puts up a fight, you won't have any other choice but to kill him. Before you go, here's some advice: be VERY cautious, the spells of Telvanni wizards are no joke. Do your best to avoid them. Good luck, %PCRank." (You receive an Arrest Warrant)
- I need to think about it, sir.:
- "You have a few days to prepare for the mission. I won't let this saboteur escape us."
- "%PCRank, report on your mission."
- I had to kill Urenim. / I reflected one of Urenim's spell back to himself. He's disappeared into the void. / I've arrested Urenim.:
- "You did well, %PCName. I hope Firewatch will see better days with the supply route working again." (Disposition +10, Imperial Legion Reputation +5, removed Arrest Warrant from your inventory, and you receive 200 gold)
- I reflected one of Urenim's spell back onto himself. He was teleported to Girithammu Grotto.:
- "You did well, %PCName. I hope Firewatch will see better days with the supply route working again. Girithammu Grotto, you say? It looks like we can take Urenim into imperial custody after all. Can't let an important source of information die at the end of the world." Goodbye (Disposition +10, Imperial Legion Reputation +5, removed Arrest Warrant from your inventory, and you receive 200 gold)
- "Thank you for your service, %PCRank."
- (If you have been expelled from the Imperial Legion):
- "You've been expelled, but maybe you can join the Imperial Legion again."
- Orders:
- "The meeting I've attended with our informer turned out to be fruitful. I need you to go to Port Telvannis, to arrest a saboteur."
- "%PCRank, report on your mission to arrest a saboteur."
His Eyes Are On You[edit]
- stolen intelligence report:
- "I have heard about your role in taking back the stolen intelligence. Take this reward as a token of appreciation!" (Disposition +20, and you receive 500 gold)
