Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Shei in Bthuangthuv about jobs and Three-Eyes.
2. Ask Three-Eyes about jobs.
3. Speak to Vermilius Vendicci about his private letters and Vals Varano.
4. Talk to Vals Varano about the private letters, Dervara Diron and threatening to blackmail.
5. (Optional) Hear out Apisphagus Thryx.
6. Confront Dervara Diron about the letters and either:
   • Steal the letters from the downstairs bedroom.
   • Tell her why you are here and stress the danger of refusal, taking the letters with consent.
7. Return to Vermilius Manor and either:
   • Give the letters to Apisphagus Thryx for 3,000 gold.
   • Give the letters to Vermilus Vendicci.
8. Speak to Vals Varano for 3,000 gold.
9. (Optional) Warn Dervara that this isn't over and either:
   • Let her go.
   • Invite her to Bthuangthuv.

Notes

• Once recruited to Bthuangthuv, Dervara will be willing to clear bounties for you.
• The letters you need are the following: Scandalous Letter, I; Scandalous Letter, II; Scandalous Letter, III.

15		Seemingly too agitated to brief me, Vermilius Vendicci told me to speak with Vals Varano about some private letters.
20		Vals Varano told me to recover some private letters belonging to Vermilius Vendicci. They are currently in the possession of Dervara Diron who is supposedly threatening to blackmail Vendicci. Diron's house is in south Andothren and has a red lantern by its door.
50		I found the three private letters.
75		I gave the scandalous private letters back to Vermilius Vendicci. Though he was somewhat relieved to have them back, he still seemed to have doubts regarding Dervara Diron. He said I should speak with Vals Varano to get my reward.
100		Vals Varano paid me 3000 gold. He noted, however, that Dervara Diron might not be safe and that it would be best if someone warned her of the danger.
200	Finishes quest	I reported back to Shei.
250	Finishes quest	I reported back to Shei. She commended me on providing shelter for Dervara Diron. Since Dervara has connections to people of high profile, she will be able to make bounties go away.

10		Dervara Diron denies threatening to blackmail Vendicci.
25		Dervara Diron doesn't want to give back the private letters. She says that her word should be enough for Vermilius Vendicci.
50		Dervara Diron told me I could take the private letters. They are in a little box in her bedroom downstairs.
100		I warned Dervara Diron that Andothren might not be safe for her anymore and she should split for a while. She thanked me.
150		I warned Dervara Diron that Andothren might not be safe for her anymore and she should split for a while. I offered her to join the Thieves Guild in Bthuangthuv. She was happy to accept the offer.
Scandalous Letters (TR_m4_TG_ThreeEyes2C)
100		Vermilius Vendicci wants his private letters back despite the fact that Dervara Diron promised she wouldn't make them public.
200	Finishes quest	Vermilius Vendicci has no further use for me.
Scandalous Letters (TR_m4_TG_ThreeEyes2D)
10		Apisphagus Thryx wants me to give the private letters to him. He says he will give them to Vermilius Vendicci's wife.
50		I gave the private letters to Apisphagus Thryx. He paid me 3000 septims.
75		I lied to Vermilius Vendicci telling him that the private letters had been destroyed. Though he was somewhat relieved to hear it, he still seemed to have doubts regarding Dervara Diron. He told me to speak with Vals Varano about a reward.
100		I told Vermilius Vendicci that I gave his private letters to Apisphagys Thryx. It remains to be seen what this does to Thryx's plans. Vendicci still seemed to have doubts regarding Dervara Diron. He told me to speak with Vals Varano about a reward.
125		Apisphagus Thryx was quite angry that I had told Vermilius Vendicci he had the letters.
