Notes on Ennodius' lines & spawning - has something changed?[edit]

From Notes (also mentioned in the related quest), I've highlighted the pertinent part in bold:

Ennodius was supposed to be able to tell you a bit about himself if you met him outside the related quest. However, since he only spawns during the quest, this dialogue will never be heard: "I used to work at Anga's Mill, but I... I had to leave.", "Someone's after me I tell you. They're watching me. Somewhere." and "Don't talk to me. You could be one of them."

A few weeks back I started a new game and tonight happened upon Ennodius pottering around his tent. Startled, he spoke the lines quoted. I've not come across the Dark Brotherhood yet (in fact, I haven't even triggered the rumour about Aventus). I came here as usual because I had no idea who this jumpy hermit was and wonder if the note is wrong or simply out of date, or if perhaps the USSE Patch changed this? I'm playing Special Edition on Xbox One and it's my first time with any mods, so I figured someone with more experience (and/or Console access) might know whether this remains true in the vanilla game. --Maranwé Steve! 01:44, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

It's actually Cutting Room Floor that enables him prior to the quest, which in turn allows you to hear the relevant dialogue. Robin Hood(talk) 03:48, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
Ah, that makes more sense than my rambling middle-of-the-night thoughts. Totally forgot I installed that mod. Cheers for that, Robin Hood! :) Maranwé Steve! 19:29, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
