Online:Seasons of the Worm Cult

The Season of the Worm Cult (or Seasons of the Worm Cult, also known as the Worm Cult Saga) is the eighth main story arc of the Elder Scrolls Online, and is the direct continuation of the original Main Quest storyline. It is included in the 2025 Content Pass, the first season pass for ESO. Season of the Worm Cult will be a mix of theme story content, dungeons, and an in-game event.

Season of the Worm Cult features the return of fan favorite characters, many who are allies aiding the Stirk Fellowship that seek to combat the forces of the resurrected Worm Cult, the main antagonists of the year who seek to utilize devices known as Soul Reapers for mass soul harvesting to get back in Molag Bal's good graces.

Investigations will take us to the island of Solstice, where the Worm Cult seeks is laying siege to the island. The western part of Solstice will is a tropical paradise from where the Stirk Fellowship will make their base of operations, as they attempt to breach past the massive Writing Wall, into the eastern half of Solstice from where the Worm Cult has the bulk of their operations.

Season of the Worm Cult is split into two parts. The Fallen Banners dungeon pack is part of the Content Pass, but is not considered part of the overarching Worm Cult story. The Worm Cult Saga includes Western Solstice, the Writhing Wall Event, Feast of Shadows dungeon pack, and ends at Eastern Solstice.

Quest Order

Due to the multiple content releases involved in the Season of the Worm Cult, there are no prerequisites for completing these quests and they can be done in any order. However, they do follow a chronological order as listed here.

  • The Writhing Wall: Learn more about the Worm Cult's plot at Li-Xal Pass.
  • The Gift of Death: Learn more about Wormblood's plans and find a way to deal with him once and for all.
