Oblivion:Black Road

The Black Road runs east to west between the Imperial City and Chorrol. It traverses the Great Forest, passing through Fort Ash and Weynon Priory. Just to the east of Chorrol, the road joins with the Orange Road, and further down in the Heartlands it joins with the Red Ring Road. West of Chorrol, the road continues on into the Colovian Highlands toward Hammerfell, passing Battlehorn Castle.

The following are places of interest along the way:

•  Fort Nikel — A small fort west of the Imperial City containing bandits and marauders. (map)
•  Yellow Tick Cave — A medium-sized cave between the Imperial City and Chorrol containing conjurers. (map)
•  Fort Ash — A medium-sized fort between Chorrol and the Imperial City containing goblins. (map)
•  Odiil Farm — A farm southeast of Chorrol (quest-related). (map)
•  Weynon Priory — A settlement and chapel southeast of Chorrol (quest-related). (map)
•  Crumbling Mine — A small mine southeast of Chorrol containing bandits. (map)

• Chorrol — The main city in the Great Forest region in northwestern Cyrodiil, dedicated to Stendarr. (map)

•  Pillaged Mine — A medium-sized mine southwest of Chorrol containing goblins. (map)
•  Battlehorn Castle^FS — A large castle west of Chorrol that can be won by defeating the attacking marauders (download-specific). (map)
