The Elder Scrolls Online: Gates of Oblivion Teasers Sent Out — December 30, 2020

Following the release of its first cinematic trailer, the first physical marketing materials for The Elder Scrolls Online: Gates of Oblivion have been sent out. The teaser material consisted of a letter from Lyranth and a mysterious coin. The letter states that the coin was one of three associated with a faction called the Order of the Waking Flame, and that the coin included a secret hint towards the cult's activities. Lyranth ends the letter with a request that you be prepared to assist her soon, as she would soon have need of a "mortal's touch".

The coins featured various mysterious etchings and symbols, including writing in the Daedric Alphabet. You can see the messages written on the coins transliterated into the English Alphabet here.
