Difficulties[edit]
May we add the Difficulties for Antiquity Leads here as well? Since the Antiquity section is growing and more templates are using the Colors, I would like to see the Difficulties added.
However, Difficulty levels do not follow the same number system as the Quality because they both start at 1 though there is no normal of base Difficulty.
- Simple > in the log is listed as 1 but is FINE / 2 in Color Quality
- Intermediate > in the log is listed as 2 but is SUPERIOR / 3 in Color Quality
- Advanced > in the log is listed as 3 but is EPIC / 4 in Color Quality
- Master > in the log is listed as 4 but is LEGENDARY / 5 in Color Quality
- Ultimate > in the log is listed as 5 AND is ALSO LEGENDARY / 5 in Color Quality
We also have Mythic, Apex and Radiant to think about.
Thank you :)

- So, if I'm hearing you right, you'd want something like
{{ESO Quality Color|difficulty=3|Coloured Text}}
? And what would be ideal for Mythic, Apex, and Radiant? Just extend the difficulty to accept those words? Or are there numeric values assigned to those as well in the log? – Robin Hood (talk) 17:07, 27 October 2022 (UTC)

- I believe so... though not just a colored text, but also to work with colored links. We do not always have to say something is Fine or Simple, but the link for the item or lead can show in that color.
- I really just wondered how we should go about it, since the color levels are using the (somewhat) same numbers. Er, Yes to the log.

- I'm not sure if I've fully understood what you're looking for, so have a look in my Vav Sandbox. That calls my He sandbox, which is a modified copy of this template. It's a bit awkward in that you have to specify 2= to add the item name properly, but I think I can work around that so that anything with a difficulty= will expect the item name to be the first unnamed parameter rather than the second. – Robin Hood (talk) 00:50, 28 October 2022 (UTC)

- That worked exactly as I had hoped. As for what name it should look for, it will be the Lead name (which may be lead or lead1...15). I have not gotten that far yet :D Erorah (talk) 14:14, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- The lead name would be done in whichever template is calling this, not this template itself. So, you'd have something like
{{ESO Quality Color|{{{lead1}}}|difficulty={{{lead1difficulty}}}}}
in whichever template is calling this one. – Robin Hood (talk) 21:25, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
