Mephalan Vales, [27,-9] |
Shambalu is a sprawling shrine to the Daedric Prince Mephala in the Mephalan Vales. The centerpiece of the now deprecated region named the Valley of Mephala, Shambalu dominates the western half of the vale in which it sits, some way to the northwest of Akamora. It features as the final dungeon in the Fighters Guild quest Caught in a Web, being the believed location of a noblemer's adopted daughter, Surol Volayn.
The large Daedric shrine houses many treasures, along with quite a few of the deadly Dridrea.
Notable Loot[edit]
Shambalu[edit]
- A Glass Poisonsword lies on an altar near the center of the caverns.
- The round southern chamber conceals an Ebony Tanto on a ledge by the lava pool.
- An enchanted Daedric Dagger known as the Webspinner's Blade is on an island in the center of a lava pool to the southwest (be warned this lava is hidden on the minimap).
- An Adamantium Halberd is held by a skeleton across a long stretch of lava in the south (this lava is also hidden on the minimap).
- A Daedric Dart lies buried in a ribcage of a skeleton lying in one of the southeastern chambers.
Shambalu, Shrine[edit]
- The enchanted Daedric Club, Mephala's Teacher, lies on the highest floor of the area's eastern end.
