You dream of a white city...

Prerequisites

To begin this quest, the following must be true:

• The player must have completed the Morrowind main quest.
• The player must have completed the Tribunal main quest.
• Several in-game days must have passed since the above main quests were completed.
• The player must sleep and receive two dreams (the second dream will occur some days after the first).

If using console commands to initiate quest start, then the quest stage of the final main quest in each line must be set to 50 or higher in the case of the Morrowind main quest, and 100 or higher in the case of the Tribunal main quest. See the example console commands below. You will still need to wait several in-game days and then sleep, in order to receive the dreams that begin the quest. Beware however that this questline requires access to a number of places that are locked until you have reached certain stages in Morrowind's main quest.

Quick Walkthrough

1. Dream of a familiar figure.
2. Speak to the familiar figure at their location.
3. Talk to Simine Turethi in Necrom, Hall of Contemplation about bit distracted.
4. Travel to Kulemund and speak with Tadrys Raleven about missing near Kulemund.
5. Talk to the four other ordinators of Kulemund about the strange dreams.
6. Return to Tadrys Raleven once the ordinators are satisfied and ask about the ringlet.

Dreams

After fulfilling all the prerequisites, go to rest and you will receive the first dream :

"You dream of a white city, its spires lit by a sunset's glow. On its walls patrol Ordinators decked in white. One woman stands among them, dressed in a Temple disciple's robe. She looks out in the distance, distracted, as the Ordinators pace around her like water around a pebble in a stream. The dream ended as all were enveloped in fog, as if swallowed whole."

Go to rest for a second time and receive the second dream :

"You dream of a face you knew once, Gilvas Barelo of the Dissident Priests. Though his mouth moved, you could not hear the words. He beckoned for you, and you caught the glimpse of Holamayan before the dream ended."

Holamayan

Speak with Gilvas Barelo of the Dissident Priests at Holamayan Monastery.

Necrom, Hall of Contemplation

Speak with Simine Turethi in Necrom, Hall of Contemplation.

Kulemund

Speak with Tadrys Raleven in Kulemund.

5		I had dreams of a white city, and a Dunmer woman standing on its walls.
10		I had a dream of Gilvas Barelo, one of the Dissident Priests at Holamayan Monastery.
20		I spoke with Gilvas Barelo. He foresees conflict in Morrowind now that the Tribunal have fallen and has persuaded me to help him take advantage of the situation to strengthen Dissident Priest leadership in the Temple. He's asked me to speak to Simine Turethi in Necrom, and to use any methods I think best to convince her to their side.
25		Simine told me she is distracted from her normal duties because she is worried about a group of Ordinators who went missing.
30		I agreed to look for the party of Ordinators that went missing near Kulemund.
35		I found the Ordinators in Mourning in Kulemund. They seemed jumpy and didn't want to talk to me.
45		I spoke with Tadrys Raleven, the leader of the missing Ordinators. He explained that his mission went awry: instead of convincing a group of Ashlanders to leave the area, they killed all of them. He refuses to return to Necrom, and his party are tormented by strange dreams. I have offered to talk to them about it.
50		I have calmed down the Ordinators at Kulemund. Perhaps their leader Tadrys Raleven will tell me more about their mission now.
55	Finishes quest	Tadrys Raleven told me that he was charged by Alvu Sareleth, the Matriarch of Necrom, to retrieve a ringlet from the leader of the destroyed Ashlander camp.
