Gudrunda is a Nord Savant and an Assistant in the Imperial Archaeological Society. She can be found in the basement of the society's hall in Old Ebonheart. The device she has been working on plays a crucial role in the East Empire Company quest, Empty Mines, Empty Coffers.

"I've been repairing this dwemer ore probe I found in the basement. It emits a signal when it comes in close proximity to different types of ores. So far I've only had access to iron ore, but if you want it fully calibrated I think you'll need adamantium ore, raw ebony, raw glass, and raw gold."
