Marana Saruthi, a high up Dibellan priestess, hasn't yet arrived from Cyrodiil. Maria said she fears the worst and sent me to speak to the commander of Septim's Gate Pass, Quinctius Maelius, and ask if they had seen anything.

Marana Saruthi, a high up Dibellan priestess, hasn't yet arrived from Cyrodiil. Maria said she fears the worst. Since Quinctius Maelius, the commander of Septim's Gate Pass, is dead, Maria suggested that I search for Marana in nearby ruins.

The commander of Septim's Gate Pass informed me that the priestess had arrived some time ago, but he expressed worries about Essurnashpi, a daedric shrine to Mehrunes Dagon to the southeast. He suggested checking there for any sign of Marana. He also said that the fort Champion Vectus Macro would be interested in tagging along.
