Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak with Teris Vandenius at the Narsis Guild of Fighters about a canyon thresher.
2. Go to Shumalkashudanit and speak to Dravynea Theron outside.
3. Defeat the Canyon Thresher in Shumalkashudanit and lead it out to Dravynea.
4. Return to Teris Vandenius.

Detailed Walkthrough

The Narsis Arena has an appetite for fearsome beasts, and so the Fighters Guild have been contracted to capture a canyon thresher. Specifically, you're being sent to weaken one sufficiently so that the arena's people can safely cart it off. The Canyon Thresher in question is at Shumalkashudanit. This ruin is just west of Shipal-Sharai. You'll find Dravynea Theron outside. Speak to her to obtain the Thresher Leash.

Now proceed inside. You'll immediately be attacked by the thresher. You need to reduce its health until a text pop-up appears, allowing you to leash it. Once you've done so, it will follow you as you lead it out of the ruin. You'll be greeted by Dravynea on exiting, and she'll take the thresher off your hands. You can now return to Teris at the guild for a reward.

Notes

• A high level Command Creature spell will also work for getting the Canyon Thresher to follow you outside.

Another mercenary has already been sent to the Daedric ruin of Shumalkashudanit, just west of Shipal-Sharai, to transport the beast. I am to weaken it enough that it can be safely leashed and brought back to Narsis.
20		I weakened the canyon thresher enough that it is now safe to handle.
30		I helped Dravynea Theron capture the canyon thresher. She thanked me for my help and said that I could report back to Narsis now.
100	Finishes quest	I told Teris Vandenius that I had captured the canyon thresher and he rewarded me with 1000 gold and an enchanted weapon.
110	Finishes quest	Teris Vandenius was disappointed that I couldn't capture the canyon thresher. He gave me no reward.
