Trichobezoar

A Trichobezoar is a mass of hair that has accumulated in the digestive system of a mammal. They are usually formed as a result of trichophagia (the ingestion of one's own hair). While trichobezoars are rare in men and mer, they can be fatal if untreated. Khajiit are notoriously prone to terminal trichobezoars, while there is no record of even a mild case in an Argonian.

Surgery (or worse) is a common prescription from those who provide such services, but the old Ashlander wives have long held that the least destructive results can be achieved with a touch of Troll Fat and a lot of effort -- depending on the trichobezoar and the person, of course.
