Stuck at shrine[edit]
unsure as to what is supposed to happen at this daedric shrine. Everybody is dead, burnt alive it seems. A pillar pops up in front of the statue, you can make a follower use it and they get sucked in, a ball of magic surrounds them. If you kill them it seems to "activate", letters on the floor light up, but nothing actually happens. A bug perhaps? Follower didnt seem to react either, carried on talking like nothing was happen while she was pinned to the pillar. Innovacious 08:12, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
- I tried that and it summoned Boethia. Not sure if it was fixed in a stealth patch or if your game just bugged. Might want to try again.--Volkrov 08:55, 14 November 2011 (UTC)

- I don't know what I did different, but in my second playthrough, the area was populated. Still full of corpses, but also alive cultists, including a priestess that starts the quest. Basically, you make a follower touch the Pillar, then kill them with a blade the priestess gives you, and it summons the Daedra. Before going to the shrine, I cleared the nearby bandit camp - Traitor's Post or similar name. Maybe it's related to the lack of NPCs at the shrine. Malko050987 14:22, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- well, after quite a while i was randomly attacked by a cultist who dropped a book which started a quest, when i went back to the shrine it was populated and the sacrifice works now. I guess i just got there before i was meant to. Innovacious 10:20, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, seems place only gets populated once you got the quest active (I found it before finding the quest too and it was empty as the tenth circle of hell) I found this on the other TESWiki, someone might want to check if it's true and add it to the article =] -- 189.33.183.203 05:58, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
