Skyrim talk:Military Forts
No general information about forts given[edit]
Is a fort just another kind of dungeon, or can it be reclaimed by its previous inhabitants? Can it be "cleared" in the same way as other dungeons (It doesn't say Cleared on any of the forts I've been to thus far)?98.70.65.38 03:56, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
- This information is given on the relevant pages for each fort. --Legoless 03:58, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
Clearing the CW Garrison Forts outside missions[edit]
I don't know about Fort Amol, Fort Kastav, Fort Dunstad or Fort Greenwall, but I've found that when you clear out Fort Neugrad, Sungard and Snowhawk, only Fort Snowhawk is ever garrisoned by the Legion, the other two, from what I've seen, stay empty. Do Fort Sungard and Neugrad always stay empty, has anybody ever seen them actually be garrisoned after clearing out the Forsworn/bandits? Am I just going back too soon? So far, the only way I've found to make it so the Empire holds every fort in Skyrim is clearing out Fort Snowhawk and giving away then reclaiming The Reach and Falkreath in Season Unending, and finishing the CW, of course. 5.81.4.133 23:23, 8 August 2013 (GMT)
Split[edit]
I suggest this page be split to separate the "Military Forts" of the Civil War, which have characteristics that are specific to the Civil War, from the other generic Forts that are standard, respawning clearable dungeons. --Enodoc (talk) 22:03, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
- Since this banner is still present, I would suggest we keep this page intact. However, I see value in making two subsections: "Civil War Forts" and "Other Forts". I will do that now, since they should be separated in either case. —Dillonn241 (talk) 06:38, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
