Removed Notes[edit]

I removed the following from the sandbox page before creating the article as, while valuable for page construction purposes, it didn't seem like a good fit to have in the actual article itself.

Notes[edit]

  • Game data indicates that when you drop an armor or weapon some NPCs might fight each other to take it, while other NPCs will watch and comment. So has anyone seen this interaction? Here is the data. There's also some data about guards fining you for dropping weapons here.
  • This page is a good place to mine dialogue, but it will need to be confirmed whether it is actually said ingame or not.
  • Some dialogue may be better put in more specific pages (e.g. spouse dialogue will go to SR:Marriage and orc stronghold dialogue in SR:Orc Strongholds). Should we move them there once they're finished?

DialogueOrcs[edit]

There's a verification needed in Skyrim:Generic Dialogue#Orc Strongholds Dialogue. These can be found in DialogueOrcs.

All 9 listed are in DialogueOrcsBlockingTopic. They are only heard for strongholds that are not Largashbur, and orcs who are not guards.

DialogueCarriage[edit]

It's nice to see that somebody else cares about the carriage dialogue.

However, not all of these lines are heard in the vanilla game. But many others are heard in Touring Carriages, as they were already recorded for the vanilla game. How do you want to handle them?

Unlisted Naked Comment?[edit]

I could swear I once heard something along the lines of "Whoa! Are we having a party?" spoken by the MaleNord voice type when your character is naked.

Is this from a mod (doubtful, as I tried searching for it but couldn't find anything) or could it be unused content in vanilla? One thing to note is that it sounded pretty good, and not spliced or anything (which mods often do). — Unsigned comment by Skyg65 (talkcontribs) at 10:35 on 10 March 2021‎ (UTC)

I think this is the line you heard. It seems like all the voicetypes have alternate dialogue, so I've added that to the page. I'm not sure of the conditions that decide which line is used, but there are two different internal quests dealing with being naked, Player is naked and Player Naked. --Oriwa Talk 17:52, 10 March 2021 (UTC)

NPC reactions to runes[edit]

Whenever I cast a rune in a public area, NPCs say things like "Gods, this can't end well", and other lines that are separate from the "Player casts a dangerous spell" lines. However, they never mention the runes specifically, so they might react that way under other circumstances too, I'm not sure. Anyway, probably worth adding a section for.
