The Dawnguard expansion continues the story from the Core Game and was released on January 12th, 2023. It contains new Quests, Events, Encounters, Followers, and Items, new mechanics, Vampirism, and 3 new locations for the Game Board.

The Core Game module is required to play the Dawnguard expansion.

Dawnguard's Campaign sees the Sheathed Blades sent back to Skyrim, tasked with helping Boethiah in her eternal fight against Molag Bal, and is designed to allow semi-competitive play between players.
