1. Talk to Neloth.
2. Find a heart stone deposit on the southern coastline of Solstheim.
3. Return to Neloth for your reward.

Detailed Walkthrough

If you ask Neloth if he needs help with his research, he may ask to buy a Heart Stone from you. If you have one on you, you can simply sell it to him. Otherwise, they can be mined from deposits nearby. He will reward you with 250 gold.

• This quest is radiant, and may be completed multiple times, particularly at low levels.

It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the quest using resetquest DLC2TTR2.
