Ernanthil

Ernanthil is a High Elf warrior who offers the player a rogue's job, when the cup of Fortune is chosen at the Roadside Ruins. All interactions with him are by dead-drop letters until he finally appears in Eslaf's room in The Warrens of Markarth during your battle with his brother Cuinanthil, the course of which he watches.

He wears typical thieves guild garb that cannot be looted. He wields a steel dagger and carries a journal, leveled rich items and a copy of the skill book Thief.
