Dawnfang & Duskfang

Dawnfang & Duskfang is a Creation that centers around a shapeshifting blade that transforms to match the time of day. Its name is dependant on the forms it takes, and they are referred to as Dawnfang and Duskfang. The Creation also includes a small dungeon in the Riften Ratway called the Guardian Vault, as well as a secondary blade named Bloodthirst which is similar in style.

Release Description

Sealed away in the depths of the Riften Ratways is a dark and terrible secret, and at its heart, a sword of two minds. Transformed by the light of the sun and the moons, Dawnfang and Duskfang grants you the power to wield fire and ice and drink the souls of the vanquished. But to do that, you must first free the soul that binds it. Quest created by Skinnytecboy. (Quest "A Soul Divided" starts by exploring the Riften Ratway)

Sneak Peek - June 2019

An exotic sword rumored to have come from Akavir. It is a singular weapon, but one that transforms with the rising or setting of the sun. Each form has its own unique enchantments, and both can be empowered by killing enough to excite the weapon. This only lasts until its next transformation, at which point the killing must begin anew.

Retrieving this weapon will require completing a small dungeon. Completing this will unlock a miscellaneous objective to uncover a second Akaviri blade in the same style, but with a separate enchantment.
