Detailed Walkthrough

The Abecette is a large casino in Anvil's Garden Quarter. The lower levels contain a fight pit where theatrical fights (ie, not quite to the death) are held while onlookers bet on your success or failure. To sign on as a performer, travel to the fight pit and talk to the Khajiit, Jo'Taash, overlooking the pit structure. He is in search of a new performer to play the part of a new story cooked up by the Abecette's owner, Raco Derrissa. Volunteer, and choose to play the hero or the villain.

Your stage name differs based on who you are and what you choose. Heroes are named 'The Pilgrim', with their tale to be one of stopping of 'The Nightingale', who (as the story will go) has stolen the identity of Raco Derrissa - you'll be given the Pilgrim's Mask to wear in fights. Villains gain the 'Brigand' moniker, the Brigand's Coif, and the task of stopping and replacing the Nightingale. If you are an Argonian or a Khajiit, Jo'Taash will give you 'The Creature' as a nickname, along with the Creature's Cowl. Again, your story is to be the eventual defeat of the Nightingale.

This quest ends here, but to begin the first fight of many, speak to Jo'Taash about give a performance to begin Unbitten?.
