The Zaman-Tla was an Argonian group from Solstice that split from the Shell-Tide tribe to a remote islet to get away from the CorelanyanElves. On the islet, they founded a village and lived in isolation, until an unknown event caused the village and tribe to become cursed and become trapped in undeath. Over time, rumors developed that the Zaman-Tla had been necromancers, and their home gained the name of the Tainted Leel.
In truth, their Nisswo foresaw a deadly storm coming to their islet and reached out the very same Corelanyan elves they had hid from for arcane help. They thought that the Corelanyans had changed, but unfortunately this group of mages were exactly like their necromancer forebears. They devised a ritual using the approaching storm and the Nisswo's soul, but at the last moment the Nisswo killed the lead necromancer, however it wasn't enough to stop the ritual.
