Two dead Worm Slayers are found in the room in the Heart of the Barrowbough at the Bone Orchard where Ethruin is fought.

Skills and Abilities

Quick Strike

A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.

Whirlwind

The enemy spins around, doing moderate physical damage to all players as indicated by a red circle. Blocking will reduce the damage taken.

Assassinate

The enemy strikes at the player's back for moderate physical damage. This attack can only be performed if the enemy is behind the player, and Assassins will often leap to get behind the player. Ensure your character is facing the enemy at all times to prevent this.

Quest-Related Events

When the shard is used on a Worm Cultist's body inside the cavern. Hakra is not amused at first but will say that the cult is seeking to bind her to their will and to stop them you have to destroy three burial urns to ensure her escape:

"Whose body was this? The flesh reeks. You placed me in one of those Cultists, damn you!"

Never mind that. Why's the Worm Cult here?

"They're after me. Once they breach my tomb's defenses, their magic can bind me to their will.
If you're the best this time has to offer, I see why they're looking to the past for heroes."

How can I stop them?

"Three burial urns chain my spirit to this cavern. I cannot leave while they remain. Destroy them and I can escape before the cultists bind me.
Two urns rest in the lower reaches of the cave. Destroy those first."

After you destroy the Urn of Kyne, Hakra as a Worm Slayer talks about the cavern ahead.

Worm Slayer: "The dead rise within the caverns! They smell worse than you do."

After you destroy the Urn of Stuhn, her meat puppet form is destroyed.

Worm Slayer: "The cultists are almost there. Move faster!"

Worm Slayer: "The last urn's above us. Hurry! The Worm's binding me to his will."
