Coxswain Belvild does not approve of this strategy, but what else can we do? If we are to outrun this storm and survive, we must be as light as possible. This crate of dried snow truffles weighs us down. Besides, I studied the charts. If we dump the crate now, the ocean will moor it on the beach not far from our destination.
