I found a note of debt in Coldrock Diggings.
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Collect the Promissory Note.
- Find the debtor in Kozanset.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
You'll come across a Dead Merchant in the northern large chamber (near the skyshard) of the mine with a Promissory Note next to his body:
- "<This promissory note must have belonged to the merchant lying dead nearby.>"
- <Read the note.>
- "'This note promises that Joroh at-Nazdar of Kozanset will pay his debt in full along with the standard amount of interest for the time the debt went uncollected.'"
- I should bring the promissory note to Joroh.
Joroh at-Nazdar can be found at a farm in the north of Kozanset. Upon speaking to him, he recognizes the note you're holding and begs you for more time to pay his debt.
You may choose to collect his debt or give him the paper. If you choose to give Joroh the note, he says he is relieved, thanks you, and rewards you. Instead, if you decide to collect, he will give you what he's earned so far to pay off his debt and ask that you don't hurt him.
Notes[edit]
- No matter what path you take, you will be rewarded with the same amount of gold.

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,

) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
