Online:Out-of-Bounds Locations in the Gold Coast
There are a few landmarks from TES IV: Oblivion that have been recreated in the Gold Coast zone of The Elder Scrolls Online, but are not normally accessible. They are sometimes shown on the map, but are not named in-game and so are listed here by their names from Oblivion.
Places[edit]
Lord Drad's Estate[edit]
Lord Drad's Estate from Oblivion can be seen beyond Varen's Wall. This is inconsistent with established lore, as Lord Drad is a character from the Third Era who purchased the land from an Orc prior to building his estate.
Fort Sutch[edit]
The ruins of Fort Sutch can be seen beyond Varen's Wall. It consists of two ruined towers, perhaps reflecting the broader Fort Sutch Abbey complex which once existed. Notably, Sutch is referred to as a city in Jorunn the Skald-King, and the Gold Road Chapter adds Sutch as a visitable location in West Weald. Its ruined appearance as seen from the Gold Coast is therefore inconsistent with the rest of the game.
Trumbe[edit]
The ruins of Trumbe can be seen beyond Varen's Wall. Trumbe was later added as a visitable location in West Weald as part of the Gold Road Chapter.
Colovian Highlands[edit]
The Colovian Highlands lie beyond Varen's Wall, north of Kvatch. This region forms part of the West Weald zone added by the Gold Road Chapter.
