Before you start Bosmer Insight:
- "You should speak with Glaras if you wish to join the Briars. Otherwise, I have nothing to say to you."
You can talk to him after you accept the quest and before joining:
- "Good luck in your trials."
After joining the Briars, he tells you a little bit about himself.
- "I am to take Glaras' place when she steps down. I have much to learn and many years to grow before that happens."
