Laerinir

Laerinir is a Wood Elf soldier who is found in one of the towers in Eagle's Strand. She was originally a cartographer but found herself recruited for the mission to Khenarthi's Roost.

Dialogue

She will tell you a bit about herself and about the strange stormcloud found in the tower:

"I'm not used to seeing so much open space. This is my first sea voyage."

"We're on an island, and they have a temple just for water? Khajiiti aren't what I expected."

"So much destruction! Thank goodness you were here to help rebuild the ship!"

What is that stormcloud?

"It's that Sea Elf. Maormer, they call them. I think he's doing it just to annoy us.
If they'd just gag him, he couldn't cast his spells. But they need to question him, I suppose. I just hope he doesn't ruin my maps!"

Are you a soldier?

"Me? I guess I am now. In Valenwood I was a cartographer. You know, a mapmaker! When they recruited me for this mission, I thought all I'd be doing is surveying land.
Turns out, there's a lot more responsibilities. Oh well!"
