Quest-Related Events[edit]
Before the quest, she will be preparing her meals:
- "I'd love to travel to Alik'r and try their exotic spices."
After speaking with Berj, you may choose to hear her out on her pitch on how to cook goat stew:
- "Taste this. I think it needs a pinch more salt."
- Berj told me to decide which meal to serve at the party.
- "Oh, did he? I'm sure he'd want something extraordinary for the party. Not just a slab of meat that's burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. Something worthy of a chef of my caliber.
A savory goat stew would do the trick." - What would you need for your stew?
- "One of the wild goats that wander around the area. They eat the flowers and sweet grasses during the spring and summer. It makes them so delicious."
- Goat stew sounds fine.
- "Wonderful! Here. If you feed this herb to a goat and pet it, it will follow you around like a lost puppy. Lead it back here and I'll take care of the rest.
The amazing aroma of the simmering stew will have mouths watering throughout Cragwallow."
You can back out if you haven't decided who to choose:
- I need to think about it before I decide.
- "Don't wait too long. I need to get the ingredients all simmering together. That way the flavors meld. You can't rush good cooking!"
Talking to her immediately again after choosing her:
- "Remember, after you get the goat to follow you, lead it back here to me."
After returning with the goat, she will ask you to find Raldulf to access to the mead:
- "Well, you did find a cute little goat for the main course."
- Here's the goat you wanted.
- "Look at it! So adorable. So plump. And so delicious! I'll start cooking right away.
One more thing. Berj wants more mead. Would you talk to Ralduf Wolf-Kin? You'll find him by the storeroom where we keep the mead. He has the key." - I'll go find Ralduf.
If you choose to go with Kalogar:
- "Why must I cook for the unrefined palate?"
After the rieklings crash the party, she can be found kneeling over Kalogar's body. She says:
- "I should have been nicer to Kalogar. Told him his cooking wasn't too terrible."
When you need to talk to the survivors, she can give her account of the attack:
- "I can't believe this. It happened so fast."
- Did you see who attacked Cragwallow?
- "Monsters. Whatever they were, they weren't people. Short, scuttling creatures of some sort.
Oh, poor, dear Kalogar." - You think they were monsters?
- "I think so. I was having a drink. We could even hear the bard playing from inside, though it was a bit muted.
I don't remember much else until Kalogar pushed me out of the way of … something. To protect me. And look what happened." - Can you tell me anything else?
- "No. Kalogar told me to run, so I did. I ran behind the hall and hid until it was all over. I can't believe Kalogar tried to fight them.
It was all so confusing, I didn't see much. I wish I had more to tell you."
After the quest:
- "I'm not sure we'll use this camp again. It will always bring sad memories of lost friends."
