Please, someone help me! I've been turned into a monkey!

I've got to focus. It could be worse. I found a fancy-looking shaft of wood in this chest. The end is cracked, like it was broken in half, but I don't see another piece. Makes my monkey hands tingle a little, but at least I can still write.

I also really want a banana. It's all I can think about. Maybe those boats at the dock have some? I wonder if this shaft can lead me to some sweet, sweet bananas.

Gah! I can't keep my thoughts straight. Please. I have to find Sashii and Ethrolo. Will they know it's me if I look like a little monkey? What if they're monkeys, too?!

If you find this, please help me. My name is Brunnduhl. I remember that much. And please, bring some bananas.
