The Vinedusks are spread thin and need my assistance.
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Talk to Dinwenel outside Hectahame.
- Decide who to help out:
- Talk to Bodring at Driladan Pass.
- Talk to Nara at Dread Vullain.
- Talk to Girin at Verrant Morass.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
When you arrive at Hectahame, you find a mystical barrier blocking the entrance. Dinwenel, one of the Vinedusk Rangers, tells you that she doesn't know how to break the wards, so whatever business you have at the ruin will have to wait. Instead, she asks for your assistance in aiding other Vinedusk Rangers across Green's Marrow. You can choose to help Bodring at Driladan Pass, Nara at Dread Vullain, or Girin at Verrant Morass. Once you have spoken to your chosen ranger, the quest will end.
Notes[edit]
- This quest is only offered if you haven't already completed one of the following quests: Retaking the Pass, Right of Theft, or The Blight of the Bosmer.

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,

) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
