Does restoration chest mean healing chest? If yes, Anga has one healing chest and seven standard chests. --Mankar Camoran 12:56, 6 September 2007 (EDT)
- Does the "restoration chest" you're referring to contain nothing but potions? If so, then yes, it is a "Healing" chest. --GuildKnight (Talk) contribs 23:26, 6 September 2007 (EDT)
The article on Anga states that it has a "restoration" chest. But here it is listed under "healing" chests. So, I just wanted to make sure. Thanks. --Mankar Camoran 10:53, 7 September 2007 (EDT)
- Just to clarify, you're sure it's an "Undead Healing Chest?" --GuildKnight (Talk) contribs 00:43, 8 September 2007 (EDT)

- Anga is an Undead Dungeon. So, I am pretty sure it is an Undead healing chest. I edited the article accordingly. Please correct it if I am wrong. --Mankar Camoran 14:01, 8 September 2007 (EDT)

- The specific type of chest that triggered this question is actually a problem case that I'm really struggling to figure out how to handle. Basically, yes, it probably should be considered a healing chest. But, no, it shouldn't really be treated as an undead healing chest. It's a generic variety of chest that can pop up in any type of dungeon and therefore doesn't identify the location as an undead dungeon.
- To explain in more detail. The CS name of this chest is DungRestorationAlyied. There is one other similar but much less common chest named DungRestorationChest. They each contain 1-2 restoration potions, just like every other healing chest (the rest of which all have "Healing" in their name instead of "Restoration"). But every other "dungeon" chest in the game is named according to where it's found: DungTombChest04Healing, DungVampireCoffin01, etc. That location part of the name is what's being used to identify the chest as typical of an undead dungeon or a vampire dungeon. These two Restoration chests don't have a specific location.
- The only reason that the the links for DungRestorationAlyied and DungRestorationChest point to the undead dungeons page is because I started OPRP by doing undead dungeons. So the first place I came across them was in an undead dungeon and just for the sake of doing something I threw them into the undead dungeon category. But the stats for those chests are not actually shown on this page, so the links are basically broken.
- For now, I'm going to go through the table on this page and remove all the "restoration" chests from the counts. But I can't figure out what to do with the links on all the dungeon pages: I don't know where the stats for those chests should be stuck. And since there are 116 of these chests, it's far from trivial to modify all the links. If anyone has any brilliant ideas, I'd love to hear them ;) --NepheleTalk 11:47, 13 September 2007 (EDT)

- How about a "Generic Containers" section on Oblivion:Dungeons? --GuildKnight (Talk) contribs 23:59, 13 September 2007 (EDT)
- Along the same lines, Oblivion:Dungeons "Loot" section should probably be reworded to link to the chest sections of the different dungeon pages, don'tcha think? --GuildKnight (Talk) contribs 00:02, 14 September 2007 (EDT)
- Thanks for the explanation, Nephele. Regarding ideas, I think GuildKnight's suggestions are pretty good. --Mankar Camoran 09:24, 17 September 2007 (EDT)
