Involved in a quest[edit]

Ormil is involved in the Boated Float quest.--— Unsigned comment by 137.45.181.43 (talk)

Thanks for noticing that, I added the information, but in the future, don't be afraid to add it yourself. The wiki software doesn't bite (that often). --Ratwar 13:07, 13 April 2007 (EDT)

Orcish helmet?[edit]

This is probably totally unrelated, but.. I walked into the Bloated Float a few weeks after I had finished An unexpected Voyage, and I found Ormil wearing an Orcish helmet at random. W-What the heck? Is it on his persons or near him or something? I am on the Xbox, so I cannot see data things that might be important to it. Music is Life. Life is Fun. Listen to Ska! 03:49, 17 June 2008 (EDT)

Er, wait a minute again. I sold him that helmet a long time ago since I'm a mercantile person. The only reason I think that is it is because I also sold him an elven claymore and he's wielding that. Music is Life. Life is Fun. Listen to Ska! 03:59, 17 June 2008 (EDT)

he doesn't sell anything?[edit]

I went to buy all his food for alchemy, but he didn't have anything to sell. Is that noteworthy? It is certainly an exception from the other innkeepers. Does he sell things after the quest or something? — Unsigned comment by 67.183.28.2 (talk) at 23:20 on 17 May 2009 (GMT)

i noticed this too. he doesnt sell anything because all his merchandise is in his inventory. it says so in the article. — Unsigned comment by 67.236.25.14 (talk) at 18:27 on 30 October 2011 (GMT)

Two things[edit]

I added in the last two paragraphs because they really needed to be there. He changes his greetings after an unexpected voyage, and items sold to him appear in his inventory. That's why he was wearing an orcish helmet. 24.189.164.73

Thanks, although I deleted the dialogue note since he's not the only one that does this. Several NPCs change their dialogue after you finish a certain quest so I thought that it wouldn't be noteworthy, although someone may re-add it again once he receives the ONPCRP revamp.--S'drassa T2M 23:42, 9 July 2010 (UTC
Thank you for the hasty response, I thought it was pretty important. Plenty of people go looking for potential "pawnbrokers" like Hamlof, and he is an easily accessable merchant for characters with high bounties. Editing is not my strongsuit, I trust your judgement on this. I just happened to have the ingame info. 24.189.164.73
