This isn't a sentence: "Most of the default settings in the Oblivion.ini (especially after applying the latest patch)."

I don't know what's missing. At least three intended meanings of the complete sentence are possible, all of them radically different:

• Missing wording in the middle: "Most of the default settings of the game can be found in the Oblivion.ini".
• Missing "don't worry" message at end: "Most of the default settings in the Oblivion.ini are safe to change as you see fit".
• Dire warning at end: "Most of the default settings in the Oblivion.ini should not be changed unless you really know what you're doing, or your game may break".

Extrapolating from the rest of that section, suggest it should be: "Most of the default settings in the Oblivion.ini (especially after applying the latest patch) are conservative for most systems."
