The blue variant looks very similar to the purple variant, but provides Lichor instead (Oblivion)

The ingredient Ambrosia is one of two ingredients harvested from the Mana Bloom plant. Ambrosia comes from the reddish-purple (pink^OBR) colored flowers and Lichor comes from the bluish-purple (blue^OBR) flowers. Mana Blooms only grow in Mankar Camoran's Paradise and therefore Ambrosia is a quite rare ingredient. Purchasing the Wizard's Tower official download provides access to a few more convenient Mana Blooms.

Ambrosia only has one alchemical effect which is restore health, even for master alchemists.

Ambrosia cannot be duplicated in the Arch-Mage's Enchanted Chest.

Only one guaranteed sample can be found, but the sample will respawn because ambrosia is food:

• 1 sample is in the Anvil Mages Guild Living Quarters

Plants

• All 206 plants are found in Mankar Camoran's Paradise, which can only be entered once during the related quest. 4 additional plants are made available by the Wizard's Tower download in the alchemy garden (which is available without purchasing any upgrades).

Notes

• In Greek mythology, Ambrosia was the food of the Olympian Gods.
