Armor computed wrong

I noticed when I got the Ebony Mail at Mount Assarnibibi and put it on, that my total armor rating was 74. When I went back to the temple and finished the quest, my armor was suddenly 128. Removing the Ebony Mail and re-equipping it returned my armor back to 74. --Brf (talk) 10:57, 18 October 2024 (UTC)

This is because the Mail's Shield enchantment is not computed into your armor display when you equip it. If your armor is recomputed for any reason, other than equipping the Mail, the enchantment is added in. --Brf (talk) 14:38, 24 March 2025 (UTC)

Indeed. I discovered what was going on in my next re-play. The 50-point error should have been a giveaway. I think I mentioned it on the Mail's talk page, but forgot it was here on the Quest page too. --Brf (talk) 16:13, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
