Vodunius Nuccius

Vodunius Nuccius is an Imperial commoner who's currently staying in Seyda Neen. He is wearing a common shirt with matching pants and shoes. He also carries a tankard, a blank scrap of paper and a small amount of leveled gold. Nuccius is friends with Darvame Hleran, the local caravaner. He is not happy in Vvardenfell, and you may help him get the money for a trip to Narsis and then away from Morrowind. Aside from his natural charm and ability to absorb fatigue from others, he knows no spells.

Dialogue[edit]

  • Greetings:
    • "Yes? What do you want? If you're looking to get out of Seyda Neen, I'll be happy to give you a little advice."

  • little advice:
    • (If PC Level < 2) "New here? Take the silt strider to Vivec or Balmora. Fast and cheap. No trouble with wild animals. And smugglers. And bandits. And outlaws. Go see Darvame Hleran over at the silt strider port, over the bridge and east along the water. And tell her Vodunius Nuccius sent you."
    • (Otherwise) "Take the silt strider to Vivec or Balmora. Fast and cheap. Go see Darvame Hleran over at the strider port, over the bridge and east along the water. And tell her Vodunius Nuccius sent you."
  • Vodunius Nuccius:
    • "Right. That's me. If you decide to take the silt strider, tell Darvame Hleran I sent you."
    • (If you have 100 gold or more) "Not happy here? In fact, no, I'm not. If I had 100 drakes, I'd be on the next boat to Narsis. I came here to make my fortune, and all I've got is this cursed ring. Say. Would you give me 100 drakes for it? The ring itself is worth more than that, but the enchantment is cursed, and no one will buy it from me. It has a nifty little enchantment that helps you run faster. Problem is, it sucks the blood right out of you every time you use it. Please? You'll be doing me a real favor."
      • Here's 100 drakes. Give me the ring.: "Thank you. You're a life-saver. I'll grab the next boat out of here. Thanks again. And I hope your luck here is better than mine was." [Nuccius's Cursed Ring has been added to your inventory. 100 Gold has been removed from your inventory.]
      • Not interested.: "I understand. If you change your mind, come see me again."
    • (Otherwise) "Not happy here? In fact, no, I'm not. If I had 100 drakes, I'd be on the next boat to Narsis. I came here to make my fortune, and all I've got is this cursed ring. Say. Would you give me 100 drakes for it? The ring itself is worth more than that, but the enchantment is cursed, and no one will buy it from me. It has a nifty little enchantment that fortifies your running. Problem is, it sucks the blood right out of you every time you use it. Please? You'll be doing me a real favor."
      • I don't have 100 drakes.: "I understand. I'm broke, too. Well, if you come into some gold, think of me."
      • Not interested.: "I understand. If you change your mind, come see me again."
