Bug fixes[edit]
Since when have we ever "documented the original" on quest pages? In the quests for Skyrim, Oblivion, and Morrowind, we don't write the detailed walkthrough as a description of the broken and bugged quest. We write it as it functions with the bugs fixed, and note the bugs in a section entitled "bugs" or "notes", along with the patch that fixes them, official or otherwise. There are even templates for bugs fixed by unofficial patches, so there's no point writing the article about a quest in its broken and glitchy form. ThuumofReason 21:18, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
- I think this was discussed elsewhere, but just to be sure, I'll respond here. By default, we write the article based on how thing occur in the game with only official fixes. Bugs are indeed dealt with in the Bugs section, and if there are widely used unofficial fixes for them (in this case, DFQFix), that's the place those fixes should be documented. – Robin Hood↝talk 01:31, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
