Beyond Skyrim:Cyrodiil/College of Whispers

The College of Whispers is one of the organizations formed after the dissolution of the Mages Guild at the start of the Fourth Era, the other being their bitter rivals of the Synod, with whom they have no standing relationship. Unlike the Synod, the College is open to the study of all magical arts, including necromancy and conjuration, which has led to the accusation that they are a rogue organisation.

The College is organised around cynosures, buildings which serve as places of magical significance, headquarters and research sites all in one, and which members insist are very different from Synod conclaves. Alongside the semi-official cynosure at Frostcrag Spire, the College has its head cynosure at Water's Edge. There was also once a cynosure at Drakelowe which is no longer active after an unspecified incident. Known ranks in the College include Associate and Master, with Tiberius Rindellian being the current Archmage.

Joining

While more open to the teaching of magic than their Synod counterparts, the College is also not currently accepting new associates in County Bruma until Frostcrag Spire is officially integrated into the College.
