Notes

• In the Pre-release version of the game, decorations were titled Petrified Dragon Egg, Pink, and had the following description:
  • The alleged dried-up egg of a dragon, made pink by salt deposits.
• Whether dragons are capable of laying eggs is disputed.
  • The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall which takes place in the Iliac Bay, has Dragonlings which are portrayed as being capable of laying eggs in the quest, the The Dragonslayer.
  • The book There Be Dragons references dragonlings from Daggerfall, but claims they are not related to real dragons. It also claims that actual dragons "are not born or hatched. They do not mate or breed."
  • The Elder Scrolls Online's Dragons in the Second Era Loremaster's Archive entry also claims that dragons do not lay eggs.
